A Step-By-Step Guide…
Step 1: Slide the ferrule over the co-ax
Step 2: Attach the cable stripper (the cable end
should be flush to the edge of the stripper and
in the correct orientation as per the diagram on
the stripper above).
Step 3: Rotate the cable stripper 2-3 times in the
direction indicated on the cable stripper.
Step 4: Remove the cable stripper from the co-ax
and discard the waste to reveal the prepared co-ax.
Step 5: Fold back the outer wire braid
and slide on the centre pin.
Step 6: With the centre pin on the co-ax place in
the correct slot (.068”) on the crimp tool.
Step 7: Holding the co-ax, squeeze the crimp tool
until the mechanism releases.
Step 8: Slide the BNC body over the centre pin,
a click should be felt.
Step 9: Move the wire braid & ferrule into position
over the BNC body.
Step 10: Place the ferrule & BNC body into the
correct slot (.256”) on the crimp tool.
Step 11: Holding the co-ax, squeeze the crimp tool
until the mechanism releases.
Step 12: Done! You have crimped a 3pc BNC
